Copy iTune Playlists to USB flash drive
Anyone tried to copy the iTune playlists to an USB flash drive and play in COMAND? Will the iTune lossless files play as well?
I did copy a playlist from iTune to DVD exported as data and it plays.
But it's limited to 4G per DVD. But I have not found (google) anyone has successful copy the iTune playlists to an USB flash drive.

I just try and it didn't work:
1) Plug in USB drive
2) Open the drive in Window explore
3) Open iTune, playLists, drag a play list and drop it to the drive
Anyone tried this before?

Almost - I opened a playlist, selected all the tracks and dragged it into a folder - they all got copied.
The other way is to individually 'Show in Finder' on each one and then copy that file.

SXUE888 - Did the DVD you made play the music back with good quality. I knew you could save a playlist as data but I did not know our player would play it as music.

The sound quality is good or bad depends on your original music import and export setting. MP3 or ACC sucks when it compares with the DVD-Audio.

I just found the file where all my Music is stored. It's in my "Music" Library.
Copied to a short snub USB like:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...FW2nPAodWyoAiA
I got the 32 Gb model. Holds all my music on it. & It barely takes up any space in the compartment...

1) did you just copy and paste the itune music directory ?
2) when you play your USB , is the album art work display?
Thanks,

Yep. Just copy & paste all the music files/folders as is.
MB does a great job of indexing the files & displays the cover album artwork on screen. Looks great.

I'm having trouble getting my 128G Sandisk USB flash drive to play my copied iTunes files in the car. It's weird it will only play songs I downloaded from iTunes. It won't play songs I ripped from legit CD's. Any ideas as to what might be the issue?

All of my CD's were ripped to Apple Lossless. These are the files that won't play from the USB stick, but they will play when I connect my iPhone.

I'm not sure..not sure if having the phone connected hardwire vs bluetooth makes a difference either..
All I know is it won't play music I d/l from HD Tracks...which would be great if it did

The B&O system is "primarily" amplication/delivery - there are a couple of added sound profile use adjustments avail on the COMAND - other than that the head/COMAND unit technically is identical.
The B&O - awesome imaging and separation - however US market will "prefer" more "bass".
On the new Birmeister in the new S, and to be expanded throughout the product lineup on a 2-3 schedule going foward - awesome separation/imaging and awesome and clean "bass".

It appears that an undocumented feature, at least in the 2013 model, is that the system is only able to address a maximum card size of 64 GB. It took a good bit of playing around (and frustration) on my part to figure this out -- my dealer could not figure out why the 128 GB card didn't work. Once I put the same files on a 64 GB card everything worked fine.
