designo Porcelain (non-AMG)
Took delivery of an ML350 BlueTEC with designo Porcelain interior. Beautiful! Nappa dashboard, door panels and console (even the sides!), plus the alcantara headliner really make it a nice cabin. All it needs is a leather wrapped steering wheel airbag and the wood roller door.

Stunning interior...
Looks like an E-Class or an S-Class, top notch quality. My only advice to you my friend, is to stay on top of that leather with a good Lexol leather product. Enjoy.

GL450
Now that you've had this for a while, how do you like your leather and wood choice? We've just ordered the same combination on a GL450 as a family vehicle. I'm a little concerned about what the porcelain looks like after some use. We don't beat up on our stuff, so I'm not deeply concerned, but thought I would ask.

Still love it. It does collect blue dye from jeans over time, but MB makes a cleaner that takes care of it with little to no effort. I clean the seats approx every 3 months and afterward they look like new.

Does anyone know if you could have had "normal porcelain" leather by ordering a ML350/550 without the Designo package?
We have a couple of ML350 from our dealer that says "Interior: Des. Porcelain", and I was convinced it was the Designo package, but the dealer says it is just normal porcelain leather.
One point that supports their POV is that the listed price was the same as others with regular leather with roughly the same options (you would expect something with Designo to be ~3/4k $ costlier than the non-Designo equivalent)
