My 2012 ML 350 - Pics inside
Hello everyone, first time poster, long time reader.. just wanted to share some pics with everyone..
Mods include
-HID headlights - error free
-Window Tints for front windows to match rears.
-Lamin-x gunsmoke on headlights, fog lights, tail lights, etc.
-Winterchrome Factory wheels - safe for the northeast winters.
-Chrome door handle inserts
From the factory

-Wood leather steering wheel
-running boards

You have a real beauty there! The blue is unusual and a simply gorgeous color. I see you do not have a tow hitch. Here in Texas I do not believe you can find an ML without a hitch - it sort of comes with the territory. I do not have a hitch because my ML was originally going to a dealer in Boston and was rerouted here for me. Other than mine, yours is the first ML I have seen without the hitch.

its vinyl tint film.. I used gunsmoke which only blocks 12% of the light, it comes precut- with simple installation instructions.. front and back took me about 2 hours, after a week or so any imperfections (bubbles) all disappear.
I used Lamin-x, u can find them online they are awesome..
for my m3 prior to the ML I used headlightarmor.com, this time around I contacted them and they only had the front, and not the rears.. when I called lamin-x they explained that headlightarmor.com orders from them.. figures..

I really don't have a use for the trailer hitch.. believe it or not most ML's here in NY don't have them..
I really don't think it will ever see the off road in its lifetime either. For me the car is really under utilized.

I really like the smoked headlights/tail lights but checked and here in Virginia that won't pass the annual state inspection. Cars are routinely pulled over by both county and state and issued tint tickets for both excessive window glass tinting and headlight/tail lights. Too bad...

Great looking car.
What is the percentage of tint that you used on the front windows? I know that only 35% is legal in New York and was thinking maybe it's not worth it at all. But if that's what you got it actually looks quite nice.

I believe it's 35%. The gentleman matched whatever was on the rest of the car as the whole rear of the car already came tinted. My wife's gmc on the other hand we did 20% and I honestly think next time I will go that dark on my own car. It looks that much better on the road.

I have a '13 ML350BTC in Lunar blue. Had a '12 C350 with the same color and really like it. When I got the ML, they rerouted it from the factory in Alabama from a dealer in California to mine in Arizona. My dealer said it was the first one they had seen in that color. It looks so much more alive than black, but still has a formal look.
