Gonna Pull the Trigger on a MY14 and Need Emotional Support
I almost ready to pull the trigger on a brand spankin new 2014 ML350.
Here is the build I have worked up with my dealer (the only MB dealer I can acess)
ML350 4 Matic. Diamond Silver Metallic. Sport Package Plus one. Black Tex with Eucalyptus, Heated steering wheel and cups, Premium Package, Lane Assist, Keyless, Light package, Ambient lighting, Heated washer, soft close doors, memory passenger seat, chrome vents/cups...all in told 66K before discounts...
Am I missing anyhting? My dealer talked me out of Leather and a black headliner......what do you all think of that and the above build

H K.....H K.....H K. Easily my fave option.
If I could do it all over again I would add the Tex wrapped dash and satin wood

Sounds beautiful! I do not tow so I did not get the hitch but I understand that if you ever need one it is difficult and expensive to do after market yet fairly cheap if factory installed. Also, I have heard it helps in the event of a rear end collision. Not a big deal I suppose but I probably would get a hitch just in case you ever decide to haul something.

Why the recommendation against black roof liner? i think it loos great with your interior choice. You have a very well equipped car - why not the driver assist pkg? I think Distronic may be my favorite option.

I think the Tex wrapped dash looks better than the molded dash...and I think it would be easier to keep clean...the pebbled surface seems to attract dust
As to the leather, the reverse logic would apply. MbTex I am told is easier to care for.
So money is down. I have got two weeks to add/subtract: Off goes the soft touch doors, the heated cup holders and the passenger memory seat. On goes black headliner and the lit star as well as chrome fins etc. Dash cover still in the air.....
Remote start is part of the package.

Really? Must be a stipulation with MY '14. My '12 BTC has the sport interior (which includes the sport steering wheel) and it is heated. While I can't be certain I would ask my dealer to try to add the option code (443) for the heated wheel.

For those of us who are in any degree claustrophobic (especially for those who are tall), the black headliner is not a good idea. Better to go with a lighter color.
