just ordered 2014 ml350
new member and this is my first mercedes. i ordered the ml 350 4matic, iridium silver, black leather,prem 1 pack, lane tracking, lighting pack,illuminated star, heat/cooled upholders, multi contour seats with massage, ventilated seats, panorama sunroof, heated steering wheel, running broads,ambient lighting, keyless go, surround sound, and trailer tow. So what do yall think? anything else i should add? what are yalls opinion on the surround sound. thanks

I may be too late in my response but I would consider the Cruise Control Vs. the Illuminated Star...You can not have both options as they are not compatible.
While the star with LED lighting looks very nice and classy, the CRUISE control is in my opinion more useful.

Cruise control is standard. You cannot have the illuminated star with a vehicle that has teh distronic plus because of the radar equipment that is in the star. Cruise control and distronic plus are two different things.

Stop it! You guys are driving me crazy, this is the slowest month in my life! Mine will not be built until very early Dec, then a gamble on how soon it will be here. I am very jealous but I guess my fault for wanting certain options.. Oh we'll, keep the stories coming, I am riding with you vicariously ..

Yeah I agree. When ordered our ML the dealer was explaining the illuminated star and almost started laughing as he was explaining it. I think it would look better attached to a big gold chain for a music video.

The options I ordered did not slow it down, I took the first diesel allocation the Dealer had which is 1st decade Dec. our very knowledgeable forum member on these things just checked for and it says Dec 11 production date so maybe it will be moved up like others have been. New Dealer and does not have a large number on order like some, none with Xeons and diesel in stock. So I wait and enjoy others deliveries with them!
