"Inside, the ML Coupe will feature a noticeably less conservative cockpit than the M thanks to a CLA-Class-inspired dashboard with round air vents, a three-spoke steering wheel and a large screen that protrudes from the top of the dash."

2013 ML550: Paladium Silver, Brown Satin Ash
Could this be the interior of the ML coupe?

Interesting thought...although the cockpit in that ML interior image still looks pretty conservative, i.e, the vents are not round (only slightly rounded) and the screen does not protrude very much up from the top of the dash...rather, it's still pretty much in the dash.
Here is what the CLA dash looks like:
And if you look at these new ML 2015 spy shots, that custom-made blanket is covering up an object that matches the screen shot of the interior shot with the screen. Here's the ML spy shot of that custom-made blanket covering the center dash:
This is that original spy shot of the ML interior:

Here's yet another spot shot of the interior from another ML spotted in the wild. It also has what looks like a custom-stitch covering for the new navigation display in the dash.
Notice they are also covered up the controls in front of the arm rest. So, I wonder what changes are in store for there.
