Supersprint exhaust installed on Ml500/550 (Video)

Hi again,

After waiting nearly 1 month for the exhaust its finally here.

I have to say that it sounds really good, not too loud and not too quite, just the way I like an exhaust to sound.

Unfortunately my phones battery was dead and I could not take a picture of the installation process but it was spot on.

Here is a small clip of me revving up the engine and accelerating.

Sorry for the bad quality it was sent to me using whatsapp. I recommend using headphones to hear the exhaust note better.

I will post a clear video hopefully by tomorrow.

The video is set on private.

Nice to hear the fitting job went smoothly and that you're happy with the sound.
I don't remember did you go for the normal muffler 849404 or the F1 race muffler 849434?

Hi Gardus

I went with the "F1 Race" mufflers. I set the video to public. I will shoot more clear video today away from traffic and car noises.

It sounds quite nice. You can expect it to become a bit louder in the first 2000 km or so, as the internal sound deadeing material beds in.
Have you got a picture of how the exit pipes look under the bumper?

Here are some pics.

I have them pointed down just temporary since the stock bumper does not have cut outs, brabus rear diffuser is on the way and I will custom make exhaust tips for it to give it a nicer look.

I have uploaded another video, hope it sounds better than the last.

Sounds quite muscular and throaty, nice!

Mercedes worked hard to make it impossible to find a good tip solution on the stock bumper, really.

If you want 4 Supersprint tips to weld to custom y-pipes for the new diffuser let me know the size and lenght I may be able to help you.

I would say mild drone at around 2000-2200 rpm ~120kph but nothing to be annoying, I cant stop myself from hitting that gas pedal . I would agree it sounds very AMG but without the shifting fart lol.
