I bought a new ml 250 last year, but I made a mistake and I didnt put İLS in my car..Halogen system realy bad on the night,and I upgrade bulbs but not allowed to when I see the others.
How can I convert new light system (İLS), any idea?
İf we have same salvage car with,and can be carry this system to an other car with headlights,wire harness and SAM?
if anyone has different idea, please share..

On page 5, I spoke about what was needed. Page 6 has my pictures. They work beautifully with a solid amount of light - much much brighter than halogen and very close to Xenon.

how did you do the installation? did you drill a hole on the headlight cap to pass through the cable?
Upgrading My Halogen Headlights to ILS headlights. W166
this is my 2012 ML350 Bluetec, came with halogen headlights (garbage) found a company in china that sales this headlights with modules, they reprogram the SAM remotely using the MB start diagnostics scanner and team viewer.
Headlights follow the steering wheel, also the turn signal or curve assist works. if you like to have info about this headlights let me know.
I also have videos of the headlights working.... don't know how to upload them.
ILS installed and working with CAN communication. Curve assist
watch the video. That’s the company I purchased the headlights, when the headlight arrived and after installing them you need to plug the Mercedes star diagnostics scanner, the company will then remotely log in to the star diagnostics and recode your vehicle to work with ILS.
i have a shop in Stirling NJ, we can install the headlights and reprogram your vehicle using my star diagnostics scanner.
i did it, it works amazingly.

they will charge you for headlights and shipping.
I’ll charge about $350 for installation and reprogram.

I got it to work, but now I need the MB scanner see picture
but I need scanner to get it reprogrammed

I got my headlights installed at a local auto modification and accessories dealer in the Bronx NY. Not too happy with the install (some gaps in the corners) but they look great. I had errors too: check low beam left, check low beam right, etc. Reached out to China... and they remotely coded my headlights via TeamViewer ( purchased Mercedes star diagnostic tool a few days before I got the headlights) now everything is working great no errors.
