2016 GLE

I posted from an article from one of the most respected tenured auto magazines in the world (Motor Trend). If they are wrong so be it. I made no claims that the article is correct or incorrect. I did say that a 'typo' is usually not a full sentence with so much pertinent detail.
I did say,
Again, I posted someone else's press release report and also some evidence that MBZ coupes typically have shorter wheelbase. Hey, it's still quite a mystery (to me) because if the wheelbase has no change there would not be any need to mention anything about it, especially so explicitly with details.

I thought it news worthy to post here. If you don't think it was news worthy or a mistake why keep Shooting me and saying I can't be an enthusiant? That's the insane part to this whole thing. LOL!

http://www.thecarconnection.com/news...-video-preview
also reports:
"A new Night package blacks out trim and fits 20-inch black gloss wheels."
DISCLAIMER: E55 KEV did'nt make the video or know if this is 100% true. The guy could of just made it up so I would post it here. Might be a typo in his script.

No one here is more or less an auto enthusiant because they think or don't think an article is wrong. That is ridiculous to even say.

as I did'nt embellish the story.

Really Kev? Who is shooting? Maybe you should re-read your posts. Who said you're not an enthusiast? Re-read my post, it seems to me like I was extending an olive branch and offering you a second chance here.
If you want to act like a Jackass, then OK. The sarcasm came from you. You quoted a mistake, no big deal. But then you challenged others to back up your mistaken quote. Who really cares?
Another option instead of your attached reply could have been - Hey guys, it appears that the info I posted was wrong. No big deal, I'm sure MB will publish official numbers soon. Sorry for challenging a few of you. Now can we get back to talking about cool cars?
Your choice - nobody here is shooting you, and your not a victim.

Looks like you didn't read all posts.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

You 'messenger killers' and 'pile on' guys are really mucking up this thread. If you believe the 3 articles and websites I posted is wrong, so be it.
If you dont have anything positive to add or any new or useful information to post about the 2016 GLE then shut the hell up!

Bingo! Thanks for posting this.
That auto show is Frankfurt no doubt in Sept. Should be an exciting time as the new C Coupe will also be there. Not sure what else, but some type of concept too I'm sure.

This thread had a discussion about the wheelbase and YOU appear to be the only one getting agitated. As mentioned previously by another member, you are not the victim here and the entire thread, including the chain of posts and responses, is in plain view to everybody.
Moving on....

"Moving on....." Does'nt seem like you can let it go either.
And to add some gas to the fire I think there is zero chance they are changing the wheelbase on the GLE during this mid-cycle refresh. Its a fairly mild bunch of cosmetic changes.

That said, I remain convinced that it's a mistake and an intern in the PR office simply mixed up the GLE and GLS specs when preparing the release.
I didn't call you a Jack ***. Why don't you read exactly what I wrote, words and context matter.
I apologize to other members who may have been looking for information on the new car, as I was.

Please note that this 1st issue Dealer Order Guide has very-very-very little pricing info on either Base Price - and in this case Options/Packages are TBD too.
Sorry - I can't post the DOG - I was ratted out to MB last time - I'll live with that - but not a year to bait the Tiger-On-Fire corp speaking..
Now a big clue for the Conspiracy Theorists... let's see, the GLE is W166 series, and the new GLE Coupe is C292 series... so you might be thinking, well, the chassis and wheelbase might be a bit different, don't you think...
