Nother set of PZero's bite the dust

I out a new set of PZero's on this spring..2 tires compliments of Pirelli after a lot of whining on my part due to the premature wear of the last set and behold now after 7000kms the backs are just about toast..today I moved them to the front to get the balance of the summer season out of the fronts on the rear..needless to say no more PZero's for me,,next year I'm going with Michelin
Latitude Sport if I don't replace the vehicle..my warranty will expire in April and I'll likely look at something new..counting the original set this is the third set of PZero's on this vehicle..ridiculous at +$2500 CND per pop..one set per summer season

That is insane. My 550 is still on original Continental Cross Contact Sports with 40 months and 33,000 km's on them. Still at least a year of wear before they will need replacing. I am happy with them and would buy the same again.

Any thoughts on what you would replace the 63 with? GLE 63 S?

Well no doubt the 635 ponies and uber soft tires are the cause of poor endurance...as to a new vehicel I really like the 63 and would get another in a heatbeat..or a BMW M or posibly a 911TTS..we shall see

Odd. The PZeros on my Jag have about 6000 miles on them now and barely worn. If I wasn't getting rid of the F-type, I would switch them out for PSS instead of waiting for them to wear out.

My PZero rosso's lasted about 35k miles on the ML320 (w164). Tyre wear is mainly dependant on the drivers driving style, the type of car does also have a bearing on tyre wear but to a much lesser extent.

As I say this is the third set in 47000 kms (30000 miles) of which probably a third was driven on winters so it's obviously a very soft high performance tire...next come the Michelins

10000 miles on tyres on a high performance car is not unusual. I know of owners of other AMG performance cars that get less than that.

You should try the Conti UHP they are incredible and seems to last:-)

The steering feel is incredible compare to the Vredstein sessanta
However these Dutch tires where incredible around corners but steering wasn't so precise
