2015 C63 AMG 507 edition
Low coolant level
light for low level coolant came on last night. Is there a special coolant we should use?

Yes, it's Blue and expensive. Shocker... Most auto part suppliers carry it behind the counter.

13' 550 4.6TT This is what I was given. The warning triggered once during very cold weather last winter. Maybe 2 ounces and it's never gone off again.

Ok. There is a very common leak on those from the plastic y pipe fitting where the left turbo coolant return line enters it around the top of the engine and between the drivers side of engine and the reservoir. Make sure you don't see some evidence of coolant leaking there.

Thanks for the info. Apparently that's one of the few issues my truck HASN'T had in my few years of ownership. Luckily I only had to top it off with that small amount once.

Outstanding, I'm at 48k so maybe I'll be able to add that to my list. Absolutely love the truck but have had enough issues that after barking a few times I was handed my $4600 extended warranty on the arm...

Can anyone tell me how to read the coolant level? Is cold coolant supposed to be filled up to the top of the white bar?
