Hi all,
Can someone confirm the parts # for the Mcgard Wheel locks.
I would like to avoid paying the dealer premium.
2015 ML350 4 matic, with standard 19 inch wheels.
many thanks in advance.

Bump, but keep us posted if you figure it out. I got a GLE on the way and will be looking into the same thing soon. What is the dealer asking for them?

I believe that mcgard provides MB with the locks, and of course the MB premium. Not sure the additional $80 is worth the MB logo

Wow - ya, you can hardly see the benz markings anyways. Amazon has good reviews of mcgard locks. What do you need, the spec to figure out which to purchase?

28174 is 27mm equivelent to OEM "short" version p/n 66470155, which is not for ML (and other SUVs and S class).
ML uses 45mm OEM "long" version p/n 66470156, which is Mcgard's 28017. Keep in mind that they are NOT the same - OEM MB uses really wide (at least R14) round ball seats, while Mcgard's only about R13. It fits fine (used it myself), but OEM fits "better" and is harder to "take off" without a key. There are several MB dealers selling these brand new for about $85 on eBay (would never buy accessories from a local dealer/stealer).

W204 C63 Coupe, W166 ML350 BlueTEC, 928GT, C5 Z06 & IS300 race cars, EQE 4Matic+ on order
I've got two new (one never used, one pull from a new car) MB sets of the long ones (MB P/N A001 990 1707) - case, bolts, key and label with key info. They fit OEM MB wheels on the GLK/GLC, ML/GLE and the S. Will sell them for $75 USD each plus actual shipping costs from M3C 4G3 with the carrier of your choice if anyone is interested - drop me a PM.

picked up the mcgard 28017 from eBay for $31, no tax and free shipping.
I will update as soon as I get them and install them. I am much happier than paying stealer prices.

I just put on the McGard 28017 wheels looks. perfect fit.
Only thing i wanted to point out that the wheel locks are in chrome and the oem lug nuts are black. I personally like the look, but might be worth mentioning.
thanks again guys!
