Rear Ended by Honda Element
My wife was driving the ML and was rear-ended/side-swiped by a Honda Element. The damage is bad, but would have been much worse if the ML wasn't such a well-built vehicle. The 19-year-old girl was going over 65 when she came over the top of the overpass into completely stopped, bumper-to-bumper traffic. My wife saw her coming, prepared for the impact and the girl tried to swerve. I think it's odd that neither vehicle had airbag deployment.

I'm torn right now. I want them to total it due to the damage on a New-To-Us CPO. But I got such an incredible deal on it I won't be able to replace it for what I paid. I'll be adding almost 10K to replace with a similar equipped vehicle.

Well...State Farm completed the first estimate at $15,000. Upon review of the estimate, I noticed numerous "recycled" parts coming from a salvage yard, extensive repair of body panels and the absence of the front end damage. The shop completed a supplemental estimate and is at $28,000 damage. I guess I'll be shopping for a new M-Class.

With 30% difference in the Money you can buy a cdn benz. I paid 48 for a 2013 certified M B SUV with 36.000 miles fully loaded with air ride like new

I got an incredible deal on the vehicle as a CPO 2014 with 40K miles. The Fair Market Value they will payout to me is almost $10K more than I paid for it. The only problem is finding a local vehicle with the same options. I really like the Dynamic Lighting Package and can't find any CPOs with that option.

ML with lighting package are hard to find, we were in the same shoes and took us a while to find a ML with lighting and in good condition. If you need a car right away, that will make it even harder.

If your'e looking for a CPO with potential unicorn status then find a local dealer you feel comfortable with. Have them search for what you require for equipment at upcoming M-B Financial dealer sale/auction. It worked for me. Good Luck, and glad that your wife is OK!

Go to MBUSA.com and do search for used ML.
you can do it nationwide or even statewide and then go from there. At least you can learn what Inventory may be close to you and see pictures of these fine coaches.

Thanks. I have been searching the close by dealerships through the MB USA CPO inventory Search. I need to know the "Fair Market Value" of our vehicle, and it is a great resource. The vehicles available in our area are either Black or White and don't have many options.

What state are you in? Good place to buy used MB is Texas Cars Direct in Dallas. All of their cars are off lease vehicles. Prices are great. They sell to many out of state customers. Look at their website. They have 2 GLE s 17 Mls
