I recently bought an illuminated emblem from a aftermarket companyand replaced it with the factory non-illuminated emblem but I do not know whereto tab the wire for the power source. I would like to use the fuse box that isunder the hood but do not know which fuse number to tab it into. I haveattached the diagrams of my fuse boxes. The car that I am speaking about is a 2014 ML-350. Any help would be appreciated.

How did you tap that in with a mini fuse tap and what amp did you use?

The one I bought had a inline fuse so my connection is just straight in the port using a connector

Illuminated star
Any idea what amp is in your in line fuse.
your photo helped a lot but am afraid to direct wire it in to the fuse box without a fuse. Thanks very much.

I'm sure a 5 amp would be more than enough. That thing prolly pulls no more than an amp or so

Mine keeps clicking on and off
Hi,

I connected mine in the fuse box in the same circuit. But when my GLE is off, that circuit keeps turning off and on constantly. Anyone run into this?

When I connected my star to the fuse box I used #23 fuse location. My star did the same thing for a few minustes after exiting the car and locking or leaving it unlocked. Why it came on again and then off, I don't know.It finally stopped cycling through this after a few times. So far I have just left it hooked to #23.
Mine is on a 2014 MB E350.
