Service B quote/price
Good Morning Guys,
I got a quote (Wash DC area) for $900+ for Service B. This is for my ML350.
Please help me with coming up with a good price point. $900 is a bit high and I want to haggle a bit with the service team.
Also, let me know if I can get rid of certain unwanted services that are not needed.

$1200 up in Mtl, so sounds right. Ridiculous, but on par. I'd get an indy shop to do the inspection/maintenance.

Scroll down for the "B" service special at my local dealer, good until Jan 2, 2018. $612.00. I paid less for our '14 ML350 because another dealer not too far away was advertising something like $500.00.

Service A through H indicate approximately how many labor hours it should take to perform the required maintenance. The maintenance services in that time window will be different depending upon mileage and time. When you pull up the FSS, you may see something such as "Service 13" which is an oil and filter change. Every three years "Service 10" or "Service 11" will come up; that's to clean and lube the tracks for the sun roof or panoramic roof. Example, I might see "Service 7, Service 10, and Service 13" come up in a Service C for my E55.
See attached sheet to get an idea of what you might have mixed into the Service A/B/C/D/E/F/G/H (one through eight labor hours). Note this is for a W211, not a W166.

Around $1100 CAD here in Vancouver BC so it is about right what the OP was quoted for. You can get almost half off if you go to a specialist shop but never on a regular Joe shop. Actually the B service is the most expensive regular maintenance interval of the ML as far as I know.
