Rear exhaust pipes on ML350

My 2014 ML350 (petrol) is fully loaded with AMG 'bits' both inside and out, even red AMG brake calipers and badge on the back (from factory) but one thing that spoils this vehicle (and other 350's ) is no rear exhaust pipes (in my opinion). Has anyone retro fitted these? Or taken the pipes out under the rear bumper/fender?

I saw an ML350 running the rear valance and exhaust tips from a v8-version. Looked awesome, don't remember if it was on this site or Benzworld. I'm betting he left the stock exhaust as-is and simply swapped the rest for looks only

2016 GLE350 have the exposed exhaust, There should be someway to replace the whole rear bumper or just the lower valance which has the cuts outs.

I'm on roll, if you go to MBoemparts.com you can look up each year and model and parts. I check the rear bumper part for a 2015 (non outlet bumper) with a 2017 bumper with has outlet valance .Is the same part number (166-885-03-25-9999)Since the bumpers are the same then its the bottom valance that must be different. You could just orderer a lower valance from 2017 and the other parts needed to expose the tailpipes. Good luck. Also the price is alot less than the total rear bumper package on ebay.

Damn you, can't you just leave well enough alone? Now you have me looking into this as well. The gf's been bugging me about the hidden exhaust forever.

Let me know what you find thanks! Or as there is plenty of room - I might take the pipes under this valence with some rectangular chrome tips.

Which is exactly what I want to do. Leave the stock exhaust tailpipes as-is but replace the valance. Oh, and leave the Bluetec badge on the tailgate just to screw with people's heads LOL

I like the exhaust pipes not being exposed, this way if some guy hates you then the less likelihood of someone putting something in the exhaust pipe

LOLOL

Issues? You'd have to be someone like diabolis to have to worry about someone sticking a potato in your exhaust tips.

I've read your posts dr. Trust me, you're safe *wink*
