Push oil change by a few hundred miles ?
My wife's ML350 (2012 / 4matic / petrol / blue efficiency) just hit 106,340k. Last oil change (synthetic @ dealer) was 96,006 (and 12 months). So it was due about 334 miles ago. Soonest MB could get her in was 2 weeks out which is now 1 week away. She wants to drive she and 2 sisters to a funeral in the middle of Wisconsin that's about 220 miles away so likely about 500 mile round trip. Having pushed a Subaru once and suffered the engine rebuild consequences I'm rather **** about oil changes. Bad or risky idea for her to do the Wisconsin trip or likely well within realistic range?

My GLC is currently 700 miles overdue oil change. Why?. Earliest service appointment available, three weeks out. Not concerned about the extended oil change mileage but am nettled as to the length of time to get an appointment.
On the other hand, when needing an appointment for my Vette, its almost always the next day.

As long as there is enough oil on the crankcase, you could probably go many thousands of miles over the recommended change interval. All auto manufacturers will recommend maintenance well before any damage would be done if the target date/mileage is missed. Sometimes you just can't get it done on time, and if every car that suffered a late oil change blew its engine, we would be seeing class action lawsuits galore!
Recommended oil change intervals are a lot like the "best used by" date on food. It isn't unhealthy to use it past that date, but it isn't likely to be the best it can be.
Especially since you are out of warranty, just get it in when you can. Many of us have seen cars that did perfectly well when owners never changed oil, just added to keep it at proper level. Not the best way to be, but the modern cars, especially MB with their large oil capacity, are incredibly self-protecting.
