2012 ML350 W166 cup holder removal instructions
I need to replace the front cup holder in my 2012 ML350 W166 but I can’t seem to find instructions or a video to show me how. Any help is greatly appreciated!

you must remove all the central console, like this video:
Pratically, there are 2 screw ahead, there are a little panel inside the harmrest (remove it, 2 little screw), and always in the harmrest there are other two structural screw.
once everything has been unscrewed, the central console must be removed from the rear seats.

actually, a good person to ask about this is @we47b1me , he did a retrofit of a ML250 he use to have and he went from standard to heated/cooled. He is a good mod person to talk to.

Thank you for the upload of the videos. One of my cupholder's teeth went inside so I'll have to open everything to fix it. I wanted to live with it but now it can't hold drinks and it will create a big mess if I take a big turn.
@we47b1me Is the retrofit to get heated/cooled cupholders worth the time, money and trouble? I don't have the option, but since I'm going to be tearing down the console, I might consider it if you say it's worth it. Thanks for your input man.
