18B900 and 18B800 codes

18B900 and 18B800 codes
Well if you've been following my previous thread, you'll know that my brother in law's 2013 ML350 BT had codes for the NOx sensors. I installed new NOx sensors (the one upstream and the one downstream) and cleared the codes. Well, they came back so he took them to an indy shop and the shop (using their Xentry/Star machine) diagnosed the 2 codes as 18B900 and 18B800. So the indy shop readapted/reprogrammed the 2 NOx sensors. After about an hour of driving, the codes came back! What is going on here? Wiring issue?

Never found out exactly how to fix it because the SUV had a full delete afterwards... If anyone finds a solution, feel free to post it here.

The recent mandated Diesel Update to meet EPA requirements. They were required to make all kinds of updates: DPF, NOX Sensors, DEF sensors, Catalytic Converter, etc.....Depending on the vehicle some or all of those parts got changed. If yours includes the NOX sensors then the NOX sensor replacements will fix the issue.
When I took it in, they basically replaced replaced and re-coded the NOX sensors. And charged it all to my extended warranty.
