W166 av Belt change
Hi all, new member here having just taken ownership of a fantastic M Class. ‘13 plate with 40k on the clock.
could somebody please let me know if it’s critical to get the vbelt changed at 60000 miles of 6 years which ever is the first to occur.

What is your definition of critical?
I plan to follow the manufacturer’s recommended service interval, including the poly-v belt.

Welcome . If it is not broken leave it alone. I have a 20 year old ride the wife drives and it even has the original brakes and brake fluid and it has never had a trans oil change and original plugs and original belts etc. Drives like the day it was bought. It gets regular oil changes but that is it. If it is not broken I leave it alone. This works for me.
