option to repair front seat cover?

option to repair front seat cover?
My front seat starts to look desperate for a repair. Anyone has a good experience finding a panel replace/repair in GTA area?
I tried car seat repair folks who do apply patches but they suggested to replace a panel.

I'm in Boston for what its worth and I just replaced mine. Same issue as yours, but in tan. Bought the cover online and swapped it out in less than hour. You will need hog rings and pliers.

Thanks! He offered 2 options - $200 for a patch repair or $450 for a full upholstery replacement.

DIY option will cost me almost the same ($300 new cover, reship to Canada $40, exchange rate 1.3, tools $30). Plus time

Im leaning towards reupholster option with Glo, opinions?

would diy everytime. That way you know the work is done right and with oem parts

Take a look at https://www.car-part.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi. Follow the links for your area/car/year/etc. Plenty of seats out there. I believe there are some seats with just the bottoms good, as a side airbag blows, upper dead, seat bottom good. Ask them to send a few pics... Actuallly, you're in the GTA.... should be at least a dozen in your color in local recyclers, some with low kms. good luck

Update: as suggested I follow up with DYI path and did some estimations to get an OEM cover. Ordering from mercedespartsdelivered.com or mbdirectparts.com shipping charge is $70US. All together with sipping to NY and re-shipping to Toronto it's $400US -> $520CAD.

BTW, checked with local MB parts department, cover price is $750 and 10 days waiting time.

Thanks! I checked few, all looks like really abused. Maybe Im looking wrong seats
