but from what you're saying is that you have the oem backup camera and the image looks perfectly normal on the new screen, no worse/no better than it used to on the oem screen?
what did you end up using from the extras that you bought with the screen?
iirc you bought...
optional AutoPlay Adapter w/ Support for CarPlay and A-Auto, not sure if you bought the black adapter or the white adapter though (im trying to figure out if i would need one of these)
gps splitter (i know it wasnt a factory fit but did you end up using it to get your oem gps antenna to work, by cutting/splitting something) (i actually see they took this off their site as an addon for this screen now, must've taken your feedback about it not working
)i dont think i recall in your order screenshot the aux splitter, external mic, dvr, backup camera, or any other add ons.

So what I ordered was the aux splitter, didn’t use. Black Apple CarPlay/Android wireless dongle. Gps antenna splitter (didn’t fit and required more wire adapters from amazon and me shaving one small plastic post with my knife on the oem head unit. Well worth it since the gps antenna in the car is awesome and it runs both ntg nav and the Android flawlessly. A 256gb scan disk micro SD. A dual USB snap in port for my glovebox (cut the hole with my dremmel so I didn’t just have female usb wires dangling around)I will post in a min.
i have an android phone, what is the point of the apple/android wireless dongle? can't the phone just be connected via bluetooth like with the oem screen?
i also see you are using a sim card (display shows LTE), do you know if you are able to get internet access to the screen without the sim card, by hotspotting your phone or sharing internet over bluetooth? (this was going to be my method vs paying for a seperate sim card just for the car)
any audio issues? with some of the other screens i have seen posts that audio quality was really bad in certain situations such as playing music over bluetooth.

thanks for the feedback, it looks ok on the OEM side, guess not. They all say OEM side looks equal or better. Thanks for saving me time and frustration!!!

And your phone call quality is going to suck now by using the Android side for 2 reasons. 1 -- because that mic is shi* compared to the MB noise cancelling and correctly positioned one, and 2 -- because the Android side routes the calls only thru 1 speaker and sounds muffled and distorted. I would recommend you use NTG for calls, and android for everything else.

And my adnroid system does not route through one speaker, again i use wireless car play so maybe that's the difference.

but ok. something clearly wrong with your COMAND if you were having those issues on iPhone 11.
