2014 ML350 4MATIC slow acceleration

Hi guys, wondering if any one recently or in past have had same experience, I have ML350 2014, about 148K on it. starting to response very slow. There are times when I have to press the gas paddle all way to floor and still car won't show any response, just regular speed. I had situations where I wanted to over take trucks etc and it felt like I won't able to do so. Then there are times when I feel nothing wrong, vehicle will go like a bullet the moment you press the pedal. Any idea, what is going on, why car is responding normal sometimes and sometimes not?
My blind spot sensor is gone a while ago and I get 'blind spot inoperative' message each time when I start the car, could this be related?

Please tell us all about this vehicle. Gasoline or diesel? How long have you owned it? How many miles have you put on it? What maintenance or repair work has been done in the past 12 months? How old is the battery?

Thank you very much for replying.
It is Gasoline, and currently have 148k (kms) on it. I bought abut 6 months ago and it had 138k (kms). I just changed the tires to brand new winter tires and about a month ago, oil change was done. About 3 month ago, battery died and I replaced both main and auxiliary batteries to brand new ones.

Thanks. The symptoms you describe don’t make sense to me. Sometimes the car works, sometimes it doesn’t, right?

What do you think is the problem? Scan for codes and report back. A parts store can scan for codes if you don’t have a scanner.

Yes, I have feeling it started acting up since battery died. Blind spot, acceleration etc all started weird after car was sitting few days with dead battery. That's only my assumption, maybe something else happened meanwhile.
I will try to go to some local shop for code scan.

Where did you buy the battery?
Who installed the battery?

Please report back after the codes are scanned.

Just replying what is being asked by kind members, maybe useless info for your understanding? not sure if its easy like just saying HI and get scan done at your place but I am in Saskatoon and even a car wash (unless self-serve) needs an appointment these days, at least a week ahead

That is not a complete sentence. Try again.

Either heed the advice of the vets around here, or move along with your broken truck.

OK, please post codes when you have them. Who installed the battery? Please answer the questions directly. Thanks.

Based on the your description, it worth to check the gas pedal mechanical and electrical connections condition. The car is drive by wire. So gas pedal travel is converted to electrical signal and tell the car to accelerate. Something wrong (dirty connection, damaged wire, loose connection... ) can cause the signal intermittently transmitted. Hope you can pinpoint the cause.

re-read this thread, and try again, please.

If the OP posted codes, then bring them front and center. Oh...wait....he didn't. Just someone fishing for help and not doing the bare minimum on their part, and avoiding 2 members' request for codes.

Why should I re-read this thread. You attack everyone that does not follow your steps to the letter. You have no patients for anyone that does not measure up to your superior standards. You do this on the benzworld forum as well. Rather than trying to promote a nice forum, you go around attacking people just because they do not follow your instructions.

Missing the point. Asked for codes nicely one, and op repeatedly ignored, meaning he had no intention of doing proper diagnosis, but fishing for an easy fix. You can believe whatever you wish to believe.

The fact you feel the OP is fishing is your opinion and refusing to follow your instructions to the letter does not warrant an attack from you. A negative response from you to the OP is only going to further encourage the OP from further responding to your request for information. But sadly you can't let it go you have to berate and attack people. I personally would not waste time with the OP if they don't follow your instructions, but you don't, you berate and attack.
