I fixed mine by removing that cap/lock thing and filled that chamber with epoxy. No more leaks up to know.

Hope your leak is in the same spot (inside that chamber)

when you say chamber what do you mean. it looks to me like it's leaking /pooling right where it mounts in the upper left corner what kind of epoxy did you use

That small chamber where the upper mount is. When I remove that mount, it was pooling in that chamber. Clean that chamber real good and any steel epoxy should do it. I let it dry for 3 days before I used it just to be sure.

Sweet. I bought a new radiator but will certainly give that a try. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I have the exact same leak on my 2014 ML63 AMG. I’m going to do the epoxy thing in the next few days as well and I’ll report back my results.

Which exact epoxy did you use? Was it a high heat version?

Ml400 radiator slow leak

Hi, new to the forum, same issue with very slow leak from the driver side top radiator post cavity. Has the JBWeld fixed worked for anyone long term? Sure is a lot cheaper than $1k for a rad replacement - but not if it fails towing our trailer on a summer trip.. Thanks!

Had same leak on 2014 ML Bluetec, two radiator shops that advertise plastic weld repairs would not touch it, had it replaced, too many long trips to chance me trying to repair it. Glad your repair is holding up!
