Question about codes and not starting, shifting in D or N?
Hi All - recently I got a 2012 ML350. I have some Weird electrical problems - both batteries have been replaced in the last week( main one with Die Hard Platinum H8 and small aux from Mercedes OEM) and it still doesn't start/crank at all. I am getting the Red "Service required do not shift Gears message", "Vehicle not in Park" and "Parking Brake". in addition to that "ABS/ESP not available" and "tele aid not available". The codes are as follows;
U010187- Comm with control init has a malfunction - message missing
U010387- Comm with electronic lever has a malfunction - message missing
P050008- Speed Sensor 1 has a malfunction- signal fault or missing message
P050000 - Speed Sensor 1 has a malfunction
C003108 - Please refer to service manual
C003408 - Please refer to service manual
C003708 - Please refer to service manual
C003A08 - Please refer to service manual
B226155 - not checked -Keyless Go Control Module not intiialized
B226196 - not checked - internal fault in keyless go.
Everything gets power and is working (lights, windows, radio, even door locks) but the front wipers! There is no Communication with ISM (A80) and ETC - electronic transmission control. All Fuses are Ok. Yellow parking light is on all times and it can not be switched off. Wondering if anyone has had a similar issue? Please let me know?

I did - they all come back right away. I am suspecting that something is making the ABS/ESP module, the ISM and the ETC not communicating. Not sure if they are controlled by one module like a CAN Gateway or the front SAM? Can anyone share a schematic pls?

Can anyone point where the can bus on W166 is? I think that this might be my problem. 2 modules have no communication, all speed sensors have codes and ABS/ EPS ia unavailable. Can not think of anything else that it could be.

So After a lot of reading, digging, probing of wires, testing off keys/modules I am coming to the conclusion that someone did try to jump start it with the key in the ignition and fried something. So I have no communication with ISM,TCM and CGW. all other modules do communicate and have various comm messages. I have been looking for the CGW (central gateway) for a few days and can not seem to find it. Can anyone help in pointing out where that module is on a 2012 ML350 4Matic? On one place i saw that it was integrated in the EIS, can anyone confirm?
