How do I know if my 214 ML350 bluetex has halogen, xenon, or LED headlights?

If you look at the top of your headlights with the hood opened, it will tell you what you have. If the light is really crummy with a yellowish tint, you have halogen. Unless someone put in aftermarket bulbs, you don't have LED.

 

I am pretty sure I have Xenon HID. Very white until one started going pink and last night went out. I'll use the VIN thing to check. Here we go: BI-XENON HEADLICHT W.ACTVIE CURVELIGHT RIGHT-DRIVE

I believe the D1S is the correct replacement, but you might consider the LED equivalent. I've had these in since August with no issues; another member recommended them to me.
I've found the low beams to be extraordinary, the high beams to be xenon equivalent. The high/low is of course the same bulb with a shutter to modulate the output.

Different brand (may be the same hardware), but also I am in Canada and those do not ship here. Also, fleaBay, ew.

 

I installed them this afternoon. When I had one done and one Xenon, you could see the difference in brightness, but I know the old lamps dim over time. I look forward to trying them at night.
