ML350 W166 Blower Motor Wiring Repair

Same exact connector issue is available with the DC in-tank fuel pump (passenger side rear seat).
> ROOT CAUSE ...
Electrical current is exceeded by high motor load condition.
-- Blower motor use tight dry sleeve bearings to acomplish high-load (lubricate dry shaft!)
-- Fuel pump pumping through 120kMi. dirty filter over heats on 2x current.
The actual fix is to reduce the load to normal levels.
> Funny Thing...
We know how excellent SAM's are at monitoring precisely load current... too high, too low except.Unfortunately blower & pumps are left out unmonitored. Go figure...

These circuits are only fused against short-circuits so vehicle tolerate abnormally high currents by developing poor connection.

Add 2 drops of oil for top + bottom sleeve bearings.
Cabin filter needs not to be totally plugged up by dust that prevent air flow.
Beware of the fragile wiring to the temp sensor when pulling the upper plastic cover of footwell area, 3x screws.

Is there a way to check it while still in place?
Thanks!
