I have a 2014 ML 350. I am feeling some vibration recently while idling. I try to check the engine by myself. I don’t see the engine moving around. It is not engine mount problem. But is the sound of my engine normal? Thank you.

It sounds okay, like a standard stock M276 on high-idle with A/C:ON.
Idle vibrations may be from unbalanced contributions...
How are the spark plugs firing, how old?
Have a look at your fuel trims to diagnose lean mixture.
Are mounts already new or collapsed?

Thank you. Yes I am thinking about replacing the spark plugs.

If you are feeling a vibration in the car at idling, get a rubber block, put it below the engine with a jack and put some pressure on the engine -> check vibration. If vibration is reduced as you increase the pressure on the engine, i.e., lifting it -> MOUNTS.
The other test, while pressing the brake switch to Drive and press accelerator a bit. The engine should remain in place but trying to rotate due to the torque. The more acceleration the higher the turn. If the mounts are shot, the engine basically lifts from its mounts. NOTE: Be careful doing this so that NOBODY is in front of the car.
