I am having the same issue I think......the codes I have are P2561, P220A, and P2562. When I get on it (take the rpm towards 2,000) I start to hear a whine noise and soon afterwards the car goes into limp mode. Did you have the same issue and if so did you get it fixed? The shop said the car shifted just fine when they drove it and they cleared the check engine light. I drove it home and I started to hear that noise again and the car almost went into limp mode. I am worried!

Futom-sorry for late reply. My most recent issue was a solenoid. I think there are 4 or 6 of them and only 1 was bad.

That sounds like a blocked oil filter. The whining is the oil pump beginning to stave itself of oil and then when it goes to limp it's because it cant maintain oil pressure to keep shifting. You sometimes get "slipping" fault codes with this.
Once the car has been off for a while the dirt drains from the filter back to the sump and it'll run fine for a while again.

Replace the filter and oil, also drain the torque converter if you can. If you cant drain the TC then you will most likely need to change the oil and filter again in a few weeks.

You need to replace the conductor plate and depending on what transmission it is you might have to replace the valve body I do these all the time it's
common
