First post-tune 1/4 mile passes in the CL
I took the out to the strip on Saturday night. The track prep was pretty horrible, mostly because got a couple of little sprinkles 3 times between 7:20-10:30, so that kinda screwed with things. It was also diesel truck night (seriously) and I got a kick out of watching trucks that dyno 800whp and 1200lbs run 15 sec 1/4's...did have a hard time actually seeing it, though, cause of all the damn black smoke; but I digress.
My best pass of the night was a 12.299 @ 115.32; times were pretty consistent from 12.30-12.35 @ 114.31-115.66 mph. Below is the time slip from last night, followed by a time slip from the 1/8 mile track with the car was STOCK, followed by a 1/4 mile slip when it was stock and had a bad IC pump. I do have a little bit of mixed feelings, I really think I was expecting to pick up more from the tune...but maybe I was shooting too high? The DA from last night and the 8.08 1/8 mile were very close. Last night was cooler, but with a lot more humidity. I also know the launch was a lot worse last night, because of track prep and scattered rain so I'm not comparing the times as much as the mph. It seems like I'm not far off from stock with these runs; although I know my DA was ~3850 I do not know what the other guys DAs were, so that could be a factor.

Good so far, I'm pleased. It will be going on the dyno for live tuning on the 24th...that will give me more info. I also ordered some K&N filters for the car...mostly because I got a good deal and they were cheaper than the dealer. Supposedly the dealer wanted $64/ea and I bought a pair of new K&N's for $85. Drag radials will be here soon...

You will easily be in the 11s, a strong tuned 600 car is easily in there, I won't be suprised if you see mid 11s. Good luck and hopefully track prep is better and the dyno tuning brings in some more power and torque.
