Spark plugs

I'm close to 60,000 miles on my '08 CL600.
My SA is saying I should change the spark plugs (platinum) and transmission oil. He quoted me $1,100 on spark plugs and $475 on transmission oil. It sounds right, right?
What do you guys think?

Trans service..yes. Plugs are 100k or 5 years as recommended by MB.

From talking to my MB Master Tech, he said the labor is about $700 and the plugs are $21 each ($500+). He also said that MB recommended the 100K mark...but he also said that he was surprised how bad the plugs looked on a number of 50K mile 55K and V12TT engines that he had changed the plugs on.

As for the transmission fluid (and I assume the filter change), my local stealer wanted $550 while another stealer quoted $300 for my '02 CL500. This is for the same job of dropping the pan and replacing the filter and tranny fluid. It did not include changing (flushing) the fluid in the remaining portion of the system (lines and torque converter). I did it myself in about 2 hours and $80 for the MB fluid and MB filter.
My next job will be replacing the 16 spark plugs which I figure will take about 3 hours at the longest. I purchased the Bosch plugs for about $100. Your car takes 24 plugs I believe. However, check your manual as my CL calls for replacement at 5 years or 100k miles as previously mentioned.
So now you have an idea of what you're paying for. MB here in the Palm Beach's get around $140/hr labor. However, the last time I had my car in for some warranty work and new tires, they had an additional $75 on the bill, for what I don't know. My SA asked me to look the bill over and when I asked what it was for, he said don't worry I'm taking it off. If I hadn't said something, I guess they'd have gotten me for the $75. In any event, I think you get the idea here.

FYI, my 2005 CL65 uses NGK IFR6Q-G plugs. I bought 24 of them from Advanced Autoparts for $250 shipped. My Master Tech is going to put them in outside of the dealership.

I recently changed the plugs on my 600. I plan on posting pics soon. My car has 80K on it and looked so so at best.

It appears that my SA was correct with 60k spark plugs replacement.
He gave me Service Sheet for model 216 indicating "AMG and CL600 models only"
Here it is the sheet #4:

Of course, I did it.
