Starting Problems Please Help!!!!!!!
Hello,
I have a 2005 S Class V12 twin turbo. I haven't had it long ,but it makes a single clinking sound when you try to start the car. When I purchased the car they had an aftermarket battery inside, but I was advised to purchase one from the dealer and so I purchased one. On a second attempt of trying to start the car it cranks up fine,I heard the the fly wheel of the starter need to be lubed????? Is this true? It sound like something relating to the starter though on my postulation. Please help!!!!!!

things with and without wheels
If it just made a clicking sound and no crank, then it would mean either the starter or bad connection on the starter.
Does the clicking happen when the engine is warm or cold?
