Unless you need the extra 0.5 to 1.5 seconds in the quarter mile, don't waste your time, money or effort. I had nitrous on my GTO and thought it was a waste of money.

I would guess a small 50 shot would be worth 100 as it usually goes this way in turbo cars with small turbos. Cools the charge so much its worth more then what it should be.

There is a guy who is on here from time to time, I think he still has the S600 record of 10.6x but he ended up shattering the rear and then moved on. From what I recall he made it sound as if it was a simple setup from a GM V8. If you have some miles on your car I doubt you tranny and rear will be real happy with it, but I'm sure it will make you smile in the mean time.

You would be better off running water/meth injection IMO.

I reccomend you contact Stephen04E55 he went 10.50's at 132ish on his S600 on the bottle. If you search his user name you can find lots of nitrous info.

I was thinking about the 25 shot if there is one and then work your way up by changing the nitrous jet, but cooling it down sounds like a double benefit.

I think the hard part is the tedious work to work the braided gas line from where the bottle is in the trunk.. and hooking it up to detecting WOT to increase fuel flow.. when armed.

So where would the soft nitrous be before the intercoolers or after near where they merge before the air intake manifold valve?

Anyone have details?

Zex makes a kit that goes off TPS voltage. You could hook that into one of the APP wires. Not sure if there is an actual kickdown button or not. It also inputs RPM for a window switch.

I was there for this run. Had a baby seat in the back too.

He's the only one I know of that's run the gas on the V12s. He knows his stuff....

there have been others too who have sprayed on the M275 TT. They started off with a small shot and then got greedy. Some pics of the damage

A 25 shot or 50 shot should be fine..

I had a soft Nitrous added to my Honda during my college years and it wass a hoot.. 12.5 sec quarter miles, Corvettes and Talons for lunch.

...then I got greedy and went 75 or might have been 100 shot and broke the valves, but before that, it lasted for years..good balance, then I broke it but had used it everyday back 20+ years ago.

It was relatively easy to pop the shot nozzle out and put in a different size jet nozzle.

All in all, I think it's a mute point since the V12's are heavy and really hard to keep the wheels from spinning.. Only usage I would think is more for cooling or getting more at speed...

Really ?!?!
Is it worth destroying your motor for a few tenths on the quarter mile?
Seriously...
These engines are too expensive to fool around with. Not worth the effort going this way. Only knocking the door to trouble.
To each their own-whatever makes you happy I guess.

Your right.. probably shouldnt' be done on a CL65.. but maybe for people picking up the cheaper CL600 deals..

I have the ECU/TCU tune on my CL65 and probably won't do it.

Would have never done it on my cl65(that car was too precious), but I did pick up a cl600 and am tempted to squeeze on it. I'd rather spend $500 on a nos kit than mess with a trunk resovoir......again. Don't want to hit it with anymore than 100 shot. I figure my 600 runs low 12's stock, so prob mid 11's modded. Like to see 10.8@127 on the spray. My 65 only saw 10.9@126.
Tempted to do:
Ecu/tcu
Exhaust
HE/pump
50-100shot

I've pmd stephen and has told me he never had a hiccup while running the 150shot on his 600. Ran a basic ls1 kit, with hand held activation button. He didnt spray in 1st and let off the nitrous between shifts. Not sure how/when he busted the rear end.

don't they make a kit now with a smaller fuel cell in the trunk so you don't have to mess with the factory fuel line to run a wet shot.

Hmmm....... a 50 shot or a Killer Chiller.......... or..... both???? I should probably go through the trans first. Dropping .5 in the 1/4 would put me about where I'd like to be. For now.
