Kleeman remap
Hi
I've had my CL600 now for over 12 months and in that time have replaced various parts as to be expected such as abc hoses, coils, plugs, icu etc...
Love the car great as an everyday driver but then when you want to go a bit mad you can!
I have been in touch with Kleeman who can remap it and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Kleeman remaps on the V12TT?
I have heard remaps can shorted coil pack life, turbo failure etc if it's not done right however Kleeman do seem to have a good reputation?
Any feedback/advise would be appriciated

The turbos should be safe as Kleeman is a reputable tuner. Look after the engine oil carefully.
Coil packs commonly fail after a tune though.
If you have the later type of coil pack that may help mitigate the extra stresses.
Also, some people recommend changing the plugs (and checking the gaps carefully) at the same time.

Thanks for advise, i oil change every 6months or 3k whichever come first (Mobil 1) which i know is ott but i've always done that with any of my cars for peace of mind!
The coil packs were replaced with the ones ending 680 and 780 (newer version i believe) and brand new ignition control unit which also is the new version all metal box no black plastic. All that plus new NGK plugs at the same time phew! So all in all shes good as new but heard remaping these monsters can give great results as apparently they are quite under tuned?

The other thing you might want to do is upgrade the jubilee clips on the charge cooler hoses to heavy duty hose clamps like Mikalor - mine are prone to leaking.
