I don't think this is normal so I am going to do a full coolant flush but wanted to see if the temp gauge should be right in the middle and stay there or does it fluctuate slightly?

Mine fluctuates a little. I think the Thermostat opening is lower than the fan switch on temp so you may see it cooler at times depending on HVAC settings, outside temp, and other factors. I never really watch coolant temps on my digital gauge, usually keep a closer eye on IAT & oil temps. I do see my oil temp in the 215* range at times, and others it is around 205, so with varying by 10* that I'd expect there to be a similar variation in coolant temp.

You can see those things on the digital cluster? I have never seen a menu for that. Let me know if that is aftermarket or oem.
