Description:
I am posting on MbWorld as I would like this car to go to someone that is a true enthusiast and will take care of this car like I have. This is my third E55 and the fastest one I’ve owned. The Kompressor cars all have different characteristics/personalities and having owned three 2006s, this is by far the strongest (when stock) and now much stronger with basic upgrades that I’ve owned from the prior two.
I bought the car from a forum member located in OK…, it was bone stock to the tires with 37K miles back in 2020 and has been my daily since. I work from home 90% of the time, so the mileage reflects that after three years of ownership, I’ve only put about 14K miles on the car. This is my daily so mileage may go up slightly, but not much.
Upgrades: 83mm upper pulley from UDP, belt wrap kit, EC tune (shelf tune, not dyno tuned), PLM XL heat exchanger, and Bosch 010 pump. Dyno numbers in sig, just was curious what she’d do. Car also has. EuroTek 4-fin diffuser and a carbon fiber front lip, please see attached pics. Car made 474rwhp/531rwtq with the upgrades, very healthy. Car has only been run on 93 always.
The car has always been garaged, rarely driven in rain (usually caught in it) , never driven in snow, salt, or any inclement weather.
Car will come with a factory Mercedes car cover and I’ll have it professionally detailed inside and out, including trunk and engine bay for the new owner.
Some notable items for a buyer:
1) all Wheels have some sort of curb rash all around, nothing deep , can be easily refinished/buffed by a reputable shop. Purchased the car like this.
2) Car is 17 years old and has your typical dents, dings, scratches/ imperfections but nothing that can’t be addressed, I just did not think they were bad enough to address during ownership. Driver seat side bolster (common issue with these cars) has very, VERY minimal wear- almost unnoticeable, as seen in one picture attached.
3) Mechanically ,car needs nothing. Oil and oil filter will be changed this month or next (certainly before new owner buys the cer). Plenty of tread on tires, 85%+ left. Brand new main battery just installed this week (4/12/23).
4) Title in hand, no lien, ready to sign over to new owner.
5) Shipping is buyer’s expense/responsibility, but I will make myself available to meet the driver or do what I can/need to get the car on a trailer and will include pics and vids during the process on day of pickup.
6) Car is located in Maryland close to Annapolis.
7) Price is $40K. You won’t find another low miles 2006 in this condition. Not too many low mileage 2006 E55s around, quite frankly, I haven’t any low mileage ones for sale. I also truly believe the values of these cars will go up, all V8komp cars will, similar to the older BMW M cars…
8) Wheel center caps are black (factory is silver), and the badges have all been swapped with glossy black finish badges. Raised star replaced with flat AMG Affalterbach emblem. I have an extra black “ AMG” flat emblem I’ll leave in car as well.
9) All books included.
10) I have two keys.
11) main Options: keyless GO and bi-xenon active headlights. I will see if I can find the build sheet for a full list. Those two options are the ones I wanted with the car.
12) Since this question is asked frequently, why am I selling? The only reason is I want something newer and potentially a bit larger. I am not looking for trades or trade with cash, just a sell. I am not sure what I want to purchase and have another daily.
13) I will provide all receipts I have for all work completed since I’ve owned the car and anything else I have from prior owner. I only took the car to a certified AMG mechanic Indy shop. He is the only person I trust with my German cars and one of the best locally. Nobody else has touched the car, I don’t even trust the dealer techs.
Some attached pictures are from when the car was factory before I purchased from prior owner. Any questions or specific pic requests, please let me know.
Lastly, no tirekickers or dreamers. I’ve been selling my cars for decades now and can tell who is serious and who is not. Car will be posted on multiple sites as well.
Thank you
they not so ez to find anymore and someone that really cares for there cars are even more rare good luck with your sale

This car needs to be in 20's and having said that, BAT is always a gamble and who knows bidding war between two fools could bring in higher than expected price

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I am feeling that I'll regret the decision selling her ... but for the right price, maybe ... just can't find any cars nowadays with freaking character. So many fast FAST cars, even stock, but so little character ... biggest factor for me. That raw feeling. The newer biturbos have been on my radar, and they're rockets, but they simply do NOT have the feel , just linear pull. The E55 is just a brute that's hard to match around town ...
