I was at Keyes Mercedes at Van Nuys, when I saw a Maybach in the service area. I casually asked the parts guy, "What kind of loaner does the Maybach guy get?" He replied, "That gentleman really gets whatever he wants." I said, "What did he want?" The parts guy replied, "He has an SL65 as a loaner, I think."
Wow.
Wow.
It was a black and tan 62. It was the first Maybach I ever saw with a real license plate on it!

Doesn't anybody want to know why it was in the service bay?

There is always a few maybachs in the servicve bay at keys. Ive seen a 62 Silver, and a few grey 57s. They also if you walk back to where they hold their S-Classes a Maybach 57.

Maybach, seems to have electrical gremlins, and all (most parts) have to air shipped from Europe. The local dealer has a walled off area strictly for Maybach service. The dedicated the best mechanic to it, who since has been transferred to Montvale to "practice taking them apart" for service info.

the Maybach was in the service bay the SRS light was on and the Forman after 3 days finally found the problem with the TV tuner and passenger side child recognition was bad HHHHHH

That is amazing....I have a CL500 and I have had a C class wagon and a ML as loaners, save to say, I was very anxious to get my CL back.

Comeon, you don't expect people who fork out that kinda of money for a Maybach to drive it themselves do you?
If I own one, I'd hire a sexy blond as chauffeur. And make her wash the car, not the dealer.
