I'm curious if you guys have test the H7 kit in the GLE 350? I made the mistake of not upgrading to the lighting package and halogens are horrendous. What determines if a kit will work in a specific vehicle aside from it being the proper bulb type (H7 vs H1 etc).

The GLEs are too new so we haven't had a chance to personally do an install yet, but it our Morimoto kit shouldn't have any issues on it as it should be the same electronics spec as all Mercedes. Asides from the bulb type, what you need is a canbus kit to make sure the proper current is being drawn which simulates a halogen bulb. Our Morimoto Elite conversion kits are guaranteed to work or you money back. Also has a 5 year warranty.

At this point, I'd rather spend more money on a high quality system than try to skimp out and have issue, you know? Is there a better system than the morimotos? (I live in a cold environment, michigan) Also, in terms of bulbs I'm looking for the whitest bulb that has the best lumen output. I drive highway a lot so I think 5000k would be best? I don't want blue tint or anything, looking for that nice stock white appearance that lights up the road.

Have no idea on when we'll get a GLE, would just depend on if/when a GLE customer approaches us for a local install.

Hello have you come with rear license plate bulbs for a 2011 GL350 that won't trip an error?
Built in solution with high enough resistance to not trigger errors generates too much heat and will compromise the other components. As of now still have to go with external resistors to keep it safe.

By user request, we're working on a new product for those with painted sidemarkers and don't want any lights showing but also no error codes. This will be a circuit board design straight plug in replacement with no actual LED light source. We are in user testing right now, but hope to have it available sometime in Aug.
