Which has been your Fav 2002 F1 race so far?
I really wish Kimi had not made the mistake he did last few laps before letting MS go ahead!
So yes, France has been my favorite.
), then Monaco (although I was sweating bullets for 2/3s of the race once DC began to smoke) and France (Kimi should have won, too bad the corner workers weren't waving the oil flag but the yellow - also fortunate for MS that he alone is allowed to pass under yellow).Cheers, BT
Never been to any in person but wanna really go to some next year am dying to hear those engines start at the start line!
Senna dominated the race for McLaren - lead lights to flag. It was also Mika Hakkinnen's first race, he crashed his Lotus into the wall about 1/8 mile down the track from my position.

My best start experience was at the 1991 USGP in Phoenix, Arizona. The race was run on a street course. My seats were in the front row of the grandstand directly across from the flagstand at the start/finish line. The seats were right against the catchfence (which was about chest high if standing in front of the seat), I've never seen any seating arrangement that was that close to the racetrack - if I leaned over the catchfence, I was directly over the racetrack itself. Suffice it to say the start from this vantage point was incredible. It was like standing in a sandblaster - all of the grit thrown up by the cars that were off the racing line was incredible. The whole start was so unbelievable (with the sound, grit, etc.) that it was actually somewhat disorienting.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I've taped every F1 race (save 3) since about 1982. Some of these tapes are now so old, my VCR won't play them.
Does anyone know about it?
Thanx!
