I LOVE back-to-back F1 Weekends!

I didn't go to the race because of last years fiasco, but man I am simply regretting that decision.

It think fuel strategies are in play this weekend like no other. The pits are long and agonizingly slow at Indy. Barrichello (4th) and Button (7th) are definitely light on fuel as usual, And the Saubers (Villeneuve 6th, and Heidfeld 10th) have no business at the sharp end of the grid unless they are starting on fumes. Conversely, Only a heavy fuel load explains why the McLarens are sitting 9th and 11th.
Of course, the Ferraris/Renaults can build long leads with their top speed on the long straights, so the jury is out on whether its better to start light or start fast.
On another subject, I'm not happy at all to hear this rumor that Imola and Hockenheim are on the chopping block. No race in Korea (in any shape or form) or Mexico can justify booting these established venues, and no season would be complete without a German GP somewhere. I hope this rumor is just BS. http://f1.racing-live.com/f1/en/head...02130634.shtml

I am glad that I went, though! All of the wannabee Schmacher lovers who don't know anything about Formula 1 except that red is a nice color should stay at home!! I was at the Williams team store/trailer and there was a guy asking "what team is Senna" in response to a shirt with the Senna S on it for sale. If that says "I don't know a doggone thing about F1 I don't know what does!!!
