MBworld's F1 race/ get together
Taking E's idea, of having a little event of go-kart racing for us F1 nuts, to see whos the fastest! I would like to see AMG_55 go, he reminds me of myself, does alot of canyon/mtn driving so

Where is everyone else located, see if we can work something out!

Funny thing is I would actually go to Amesterdam to do this.
I think Vegas is a good option. But realistically...
I think it is about finding a good track
Identifying if they would give us a discount
Getting hotel accomodations
Ancillary things to do for the significant others that come out
Hell, we could even do awards based on people's postings

LOL nuts!
Nola, it would be insane going to Amerstam just to kart, why not finnland, they have great mtn roads, and terrain in the snow to drive-- so much thrill!
Micheal has been telling me how girls are so open about sex and are willing to play ! If you can get us some hot babes and a sweet 4 wheel drive car to go up to Finnland to learn how to drive like those Flying Finns im so down !

anyways yea vegas would be the best bet, but lets do it after my 21st bday so i can do just about everything in vegas guys !

im going to vegas for sema beginning of nov.
there is a nice track about 20min. away from vegas, they have some fast carts. there is also adams cart track out here in riverside but they arent that fast, however the track is the ****, its got a banked turn. let me know when, where
ill try to make it
there used to be a place in san diego, they had some sick *** carts, top speed was 75 but they said most people hit around 65, believe me that was fast enough, feels like your sitting on a skateboard with a rocket engine up your ***
(the track is still there but they dont rent carts anymore

if there are a lot of people why dont we rent a track and carts, i know at least 3 other people that would be willing to go. the track near vegas is available for rent and their carts hit 50+ i believe

I'm good for Vegas. I would say however that I'd like it to be sometime in the future so we can get the word out etc. Maybe coincide it with the start of the F1 season? Something like that.
To get any type of deal on the track we would need to get headcount etc.
Tentatively how many people are interested in this?

If you plan it sufficiently in advance, you could get some decent turnout. Having a firm date, say, 2 months in advance would be a good idea.
Many people go to Vegas for various reasons and with early notice you could try to persuade them to make it coincide with this event.
If anyone is interested in doing something similar on the east coast, one option would be the OVRP track, about 90 miles north of NYC.
