Briatore out as Renault admit charge
I can't say that I blame Nelson for exposing those too but I do blame him for executing their order and for waiting for nearly a year keeping quiet as long as he had a contract and then bring this up.
I bet one could make an interesting soap opera using F1 and it's cast.

In Renault's case, they were only 3 people involved, I don't think that some 600 employees of the race team who knew nothing about it should have lost their jobs and also risking to loose Renault, a manufacturer that has been participating in the sport since its early days because of the actions of 3 people! Furthermore, the incident didn't enable them to have an unfair advantage from the other teams for any other races except that particular one so I don't think they should had fined them anything more than the revenue they collected by winning the race.

To be honest with you, McLaren did a lot of embarrassing things during the last couple of years. Brawn is not a bad team to own at all, they seem to be playing a fair game so far. Right now they have both drivers competing for the championship and there are no conflicts between them as McLaren did in 2007.

Pat Symopnds the other team official involved in this took his lumps and left, he will never return.
Piquet is now unemployable as he has admitted to cheating to keep his seat. Regardless of the pressure he was under he is damaged goods.
Alonso is hip deep in this just like the Mclaren affair. He tried to blackmail Mclaren for #1 status in the team when a rookie was spanking him and when he tried Mclaren turned the info over to the FIA, then got fined for doing the right thing. Alonso is now at Ferrari and watch, within 2 years he will be in the moiddle of a huge scandal.
You overate Alonso, He won his 2 wdc's with a car that was the class of the field, When challenged with a driver and car of equal value, he crumbles. Ferrari got rid of Kimi because he wouldnt kneel down to a lesser position within the team and I think you will find that Massa isnt going to take his arrogance either.
Next year will be interesting as I believe Brawn has already peaked as a team. It will be wide open again next year.
