Rear break question with a twist

Ok I went to put my new lowenhart rims on and got the lugs that were suppose to fit and problem. I started to back up and I could hear a weird rubbing sound. I had checked clearance when I put them on and I was well fine. So I jacked up the car put it in N and spun the tires and sure enough something was rubbing or dragging. I put the stock back on and fine so I looked in the hole and could see springs and parts inside the disk hub. Is there a mini drum break for the parking break? The bolts would hit the springs inside and kind of bind up.

Yes, the rear rotor hat is machined inside and serves as a drum/shoes style brake for the parking brake.

Thanks, looks like I need to get a touch shorter bolts.

Not really, just getting the kinks out sometimes does though.

09 E350 ,
first thing is to fix the e brake springs ,then get lugs that are shorter ,it could cause bigger problems down the road
