Everyone has got to get one of these DVD's.STAR SERVICE Manual Library MB part#p-2700-220/215-07.i cant convey how much info and how valuable this $94 dollar DVD is.everything you want to service, repair, troubleshoot or locate on the vehicle is there.we lack the diagnostic computers necessary to do the fault code diagnoses, but short of that this dvd will show you how to repair allmost anything on the car.

Different prices for different cars, however.

These DVDs have plenty of the techncial bulletins and recalls, but it's useful to keep up to date by occasionally buying a one-day subscription to the latest WIS at http://www.startekinfo.com You can download and/or print anything from there

The subscription WIS will include all the latest DTBs (dealer technical bulletins) and recalls and in addition includes "installation" instructions that sometimes aren't included on the DVDs. How to install phone, etc.

For example, we bought our E-class in 12/'05 and I got the DVD shortly thereafter. However there's an 11/'07 DTB for a hose replacement to quiet down the SBC pump.

Call MB USA at 1-800-FOR-MERCedes and ask for a Service CD. They'll tell you this DVD will ONLY work under MS Windows, that your PC MUST have a DVD reader, and the DVD is NOT returnable. Then they'll ask for a credit card number and you'll have the DVD within a week.

iv'e probably spent at least 8 hours simply studying the info on the dvd and have gained truly valuable info on my car.i have allways performed the a/b service on our cars after the fss expires.having the service library takes all the guess work out of it.any service or maintanance task that i perform now,i print the procedure and include the receipts for parts and am using this method to document service records and to maintain compliance with extended warranty requirements. bones.
