Attn parts guys***

Looking for opinions from guys in the parts industry on oil filters. Any quality issues with K&N, mahle, or hengst?

I know mann makes the oe mercedes oil filters.

G- oil filters

i just installed my first wick filter in our 2003 S-500.iv'e been loyal to mann,hengst and MB oe.but the wick filter media matches or exceeds all of them and will support factory warranty requirements,plus it has "O" rings at the top and bottom where the extension tube inserts through the center of the filter.none of the other filters have this,iv'e allways wondered how those other filters expected to seal in this area.i guess it's not critical and dosent allow any unfiltered oil to get through.
