Star diagnostic tool - ebay
Has anyone had any experience with the Star/DAS systems being sold on ebay for around $1300. The ones i've seen typically have all the cables, multiplexer and and HD. All you have to do is add IBM T30 laptop.
Just wondering if they actually work...

Not necessarlly as factory info changes also with their experience. Bulletins are issed and changed, Tech data changes at at times also. An outdated Star system is about useless.

If anyone is interested in purchasing a New DAS system with IBM laptop included please message me. My price is $1,900 USD. All Cables and multiplexers are included. DAS AND WIS programs are installed on the ibm laptop. Thanks!

Unless its up to date and has a subscription for updates its worthless. Very expensive to buy new and in fact you could have your car dealer maintained for its lifetime for the cost of the thing.
