If you choose the TUNER sub menu you will be displayed with the following screen. As you can see, this is a great way to see what kind of reception you are receiving. The reception strength is listed as F0 (The weakest) to F10 (The highest).

The ERROR LIST option is handy to see what types of Trouble Codes your COMAND is storing. Now if only we could get a list of DTC codes in a numerical order with their meanings.

Excellent Adam! I'll be trying this out when I head out this morning....

Any clue as to what years/versions of COMAND this is likely to work on?

Press ”rest” for aprox 5 sec. Press then the left ”auto-button” a number of times to see the different channels. Mostly I use number 22, that is the speed.

Cool, thanks, I just tested it with the car in the driveway, it does work fine! I wonder if it will show speeds higher than 99 mph, I should test it.

Thanks

Hit back until you are in the regualr mode again or simply shut the COMAND down and power back on. That will put you back to the normal system.

Is there somewhere to check what car code the Comand is set to ??
I have a A208 Comand but I think its been reconfigured for another model (eg. 210).
Is this info somewhere in the diagnostics menu ??
If so, where ?
