W230 Sedan Door Handle Protector

I am interested to install those OEM factory Door Handle Protector on my C230 Soprt Sedan, how difficult is it to install them yourself? Any special tools needed? Do the handles need to come off the door for installation? The dealer said it'll take an hour for installation. Any info. on this subject is greatly appreciated.
