Help Please
i had originally posted this in the c-class (w202) forum but it may be better here
ok i have important question any help is appreciated.....
i am new here i have a 1998 c280 and my moonroof has what i percieve as serious problems...when opening it goes in very short intervals and it takes three times of letting off and having to hit the button again to get it open and then when i try and close the sunroof it wil not close @ all no sound nothing just does not work...i am guessing this may be a relay or some sort...i have brought the car to a shop and they had said everything was fine and it was for a day and since that day it has been screwed.....please help

Try synchronizing the sunroof. Hold the switch in the tilt up position for a few seconds, then hold it in the tilt down position for a few seconds. This alone might fix the problem.

Why would they say everything is fine if the roof doesnt close? What you might need to do is pull or push the button up/down to close it instead of pushing it foward, once the roof reaches the full open or full closed position then continue to hold the button for 2 or 3 extra seconds.
