Not sure where can I purchase a star diagnostic basic 2 as a individual user ?

 

them if you have the thousands of dollars and yearly updates.
However you would find little use for it without the training and would most likely screw something up.
What are you looking to find out or modify?

 

Might be easier to find a local indy that might have one. I know there's a few out there..

 

I am actually helping a friend oversea to buy one. He has a modification shop in Singapore.
In sg, even workshop can't purchase the star basic. Only the main dealer has them. They don't sell it to anybody. So that only them can fix Merc in Singapore I guess

 

classifieds sometimes members have them for sale or places like autoscanit clone them.
Don't feel too bad for your friend we have a member on he forum that lives on some island 700 miles east of Brisbane,Au. no dealer at all,no dealer to screw him
